Measure Success – HootSuite Reinvents Social Analytics

Hootsuite, my favorite Twitter client (see my visit to their office here), has just released an awesome set of analytics tools. HootSuite Social Analytics are designed to help you close the gap between your actions on the social web and the results of your efforts. This collection of tools are built to give you a better view of your social profiles with powerful analytics tools to measure results and customize reports. In short, track the success of your social media campaigns and get a better understanding of the return on your investment.

The highly-customizable Social Analytics system comes with highly-requested reporting features allowing you to track Twitter brand mentions, measure Twitter profile growth, examine Facebook Likes and demographics, and even overlay website results from Google.

Start Reporting

If you’ve logged into your HootSuite account today, you’ve already seen some big changes to the way your dashboard looks. All functions are now built into a handy menu beside your streams — Analytics (formerly Stats), Contacts, Settings etc. — everything is right there.

The Stats that you’re familiar with will be broken out into over 30 “modules” or report functions which can be mixed and matched into customizable reports with interactive graphs and charts. But don’t worry, if you liked the Stats the way they were, you can still access them in a function called Quick Reports.

You can start from scratch or use one of the pre-built templates to start using the new functionality right away. Once the report is built you can add a custom logo to your header, insert an intro blurb and name the report with any title you like.
