Hey everyone.
A few updates before I head off to bed. My surgery to fix my broken collar bone was successful. The operation took an hour longer than expected because the doctor found I had broken the bone into more pieces than the x-ray showed. I want to thank everyone who sent their prayers and good wishes. It meant a lot to me.
I checked into Newport Orthopedic Institute at 6:30am this morning for the surgery. My first ever operation went surprisingly well. The staffs were extremely friendly, and I got to talk to everyone who would be in the O.R. with me. It’s too bad they had to put me under for the operation. I would have love to watch it. I mean, how often does one get a chance to see inside one’s body?
The reason for this late blog post is because they numbed the entire right shoulder, and that meant I had no feeling in my right arm. Instead of typing the post with one arm, I decided to let the freezing wear off. The doctor told me I would need to take the pain killers afterward, but so far, I’m don’t feel a need for it. That might change later, however.

I will be flying to New York tomorrow for the Affiliate Summit. Some would say flying on the day after surgery is not very smart, but I cleared it with the doctor. He told me to take the pain killers if I get uncomfortable. I have a better idea for being comfortable. I’m flying first class, with a lay flat seat/bed. 🙂
