We often look at why people follow us on social platforms and try to find create ways to tweak our social marketing to increase engagement. Social media is great to get new content in front of people and connect relevant people all over the web. At one point, it would have taken months to promote content, but it can now be done within a few hours. We often hear stories about how some bloggers attracted thousands of visitors within a few hours by posting high value, engaging content on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. No one can underestimate the power of social media and what it can do for brand awareness. However, we have to look at ways it can harm your blog.
