I was at the new HootSuite offices in Vancouver last night to give a presentation to the Vancouver Business Network. The last time I visited Hootsuite, it was at their old headquarters back in January 2011. The company has grown tremendously since then.
Hootsuite is one of Canada’s greatest start up success story. Founded by Ryan Holmes in 2008, Hootsuite has gone from one man’s idea to global company with over 10 million users. Hootsuite and I, along with Emily Carr University were featured in the CBC documentary, Generation Social: The Vancouver Network.
Today, Hootsuite has offices around the world. There are two headquarters in Vancouver. They are located right next to each other. The theme of the offices is Web 2.0, but there’s a definite West Coast flavour to it.
