This Hydrogen and Wind Powered Superyacht Will Allow You To Cruise Emission Free

Do you want to buy a superyacht but worry about the carbon footprint such a purchase would produce? Then this is the boat you’re looking for. The 145 foot (45 meter) Seaffinity by VPLP will allow you to cruise the seven seas completely emission free!

The Trimaran Concept is stunning vessel that was inspired by seagulls which is evident in her two large wings. The hybrid engine is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell which allows the yacht to run on electricity without any combustions or emissions. In addition, Seaffinity has two large sails which span 2,690 square feet each that can propel her silently around the world’s oceans while maintaining a near zero carbon footprint.

The yacht was designed by VPLP under the direction of Patrick Le Quement, a noteworthy designer in the yachting world. Right now, the Seaffinity is just a concept, but VPLP is hoping an environmentally conscious buyer will step forward and bring the vessel to life.
