The first South OC Bitcoin Meetup took place at The Outlets at San Clemente, which happens to be the same place that host the weekly South OC Cars and Coffee.
The meetup was held in the offices are Crossover Health and was originally called the San Clemente Bitcoin Meetup but I like the South OC name more. So moving forward, it will be called the South OC Bitcoin Meetup.
For the first bitcoin meetup of South Orange County, we got to learn about crypto currencies from Nik Bhatia, author of Layered Money. Nik gave an impassion speech on why decentralized finance and bitcoin are the future. Everyone who attended the meetup the got a copy of Nik’s book.
If you live in the Orange County area and want to learn more about bitcoin, then you should definitely sign up for a future meetup. With events in Anaheim and now San Clemente, you won’t have to travel very far to get to one.
