In the case of the Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X, Tesla increased the price of Long Range versions by $5,000 and $6,000 respectively. The Plaid versions experienced no price increase.

Reuters says that Tesla has increased the prices in response to persistent global supply-chain problems and soaring raw material costs. I would add that strong demand for Tesla EVs is also a factor in the prices going up. If you order a long range Model Y right now, you can expect delivery in Jan-Apr, 2023.
