On this episode of the Dot Com Lifestyle Vlog, I take my first road trip in the Tesla Model Y Performance. We headed to Mammoth Mountain for ski week.
The Tesla Model Y is a great road trip car. Thanks to the vast Tesla Supercharger network, you never have to worry about finding a charger to charge the battery back up. You can’t say the same thing when using a non Tesla EV and third party chargers. In addition to easy charging, the Model Y is packed with entertainment features to keep you from getting bored while you’re waiting to charge. From being able to watch YouTube videos to playing video games to singing karaoke, the Model Y will keep the kids from asking, “Are we there yet?”
The one downside for using the Model Y Performance for this road trip is the car only comes with high performance summer tires (the normal Y comes with all season tires). This is not the best option to use when heading to a snow packed mountain. However, the Y got us to our destination safe and sound.
