Follow These WordPress Tips

Welcome to another awesome part of our series on Traffic and Leads. We’ve been covering a lot of ground talking about cool WordPress strategies to build a massive site for income purposes. However, it’s important you follow the complete process from start to finish so you can put everything in order from beginning to end. In Part 6, we discussed the importance of setting up an email list so you can start collecting subscribers from the beginning. This is important because through email follow-ups, you’ll be able to generate massive return visitors and promote new content quickly. However, for you to collect email subscribers, it’s important you tweak and optimize along the way. Some marketing methods will work better than others, but you have to test different landing pages for optimal results.

Today, we’ll be discussing the importance of landing pages and how testing can double or triple your subscribers. Let’s get started. Again, if you haven’t read the previous parts, I encourage all of you to go back skim through 1-6 before starting on this one.

What are Landing Pages?

A Landing page is a “page” dedicated to quickly showcasing a product or service. However, the main intention to add a “call-to-action” to encourage people to opt-into the form or even create some other type of conversion. This page is NOT a typical “page” because there is little text, a clear call-to-action, and is right to the point. In short, because we’re discussing growing your email list, it’s important to make sure you have a page that converts, increasing your overall subscribers.

The next question I get a lot is: How can we optimize our landing page? The MOST optimal way to increase subscribers through a landing page is to test, test, and do some more testing. However, over the years, this has become a simple process because you have several tools at your disposal. Here are a few popular ones…

Email Service Provider – It’s amazing how far email service providers have come and they are attracting customers by providing them a full solution. For example, I use Aweber.com and within the backend, I can create different forms and set them up for split testing. This means a different form will be displayed each time a new visitor comes to my page. However, I can set one to be displayed more than the others and in the end, stick to the form that produces the highest conversions.

From my knowledge, all the email service providers should provide you with this feature and if they don’t, you should subscribe to others. I’m currently using Aweber.com and have had great success!

Leadpages.net

A cool tool to turn your idea into a landing page quickly and with little skill because this tool provides you with everything you need to achieve your bottom line. Many of the landing pages can be designed using a drag and drop option, plus they’ve been tested to work. Leadpages.net has gathered data from the past to ONLY provide what’s been proven to work so this cuts your work time in half. Next, if you’re testing, they’ll provide you with a complete breakdown of the data so you can make an informed decision when choosing the page to move forward with.

This tool is awesome and has been growing in popularity over the years.
