If you had a choice between spending $20K on a car or spending the same amount on a family vacation, which would you choose?
I wasn’t really face with that choice. It was more like a few readers found out the cost of my ten day Christmas vacation, and commented that I could buy a car for that kind of money.
There is no right or wrong answer. However, in this episode of Driving with John Chow, I will make the case on why spending money on experiences (the vacation) is better than spending money on toys (the car).
