Sushi Studio is Long Beach’s most loved Sushi restaurant. Since opening in 2003, They have grown to be a local’s favorite. It’s not hard to understand why. Dine with them once and you will understand how their Japanese with a Thai kick is so addictive.
While the restaurant does serve normal sushi dishes, Sushi Studio is known for their specialties like the Lady In Red (Tuna stuffed with spicy crunchy shrimp), and Special Rolls like the Rainbow (California roll topped with tuna, salmon and shrimp, avocado). Made with a complex combinations of fresh fish, vegetables, fruits and decadent sauces, Sushi Studio will take your taste buds on an exotic adventure.
Lunch time diners can choose from $8.95 lunch special that run from 11am to 3pm every day. It’s great when you’re on a budget. We sampled the Shogun set lunch, which contained two pieces of tuna, one piece each of salmon, albacore, shrimp and white fish, served with a choice of California roll, Spicy tuna cut roll, or spicy salmon cut roll. It was really good. The sushi almost melted in your mouth.
The rest of the dishes were from the regular menu, and they ranged in price from $4.95 for the flying fish egg, all the way to $13.95 for the Rainbow Special Rolls. The Roti pancake with ice cream dessert (pictured below) is a must try for a perfect ending to a great dinning experience.
Final bill for lunch for three came to $85 with tax and tip. If we would have stuck with just the lunch specials, the bill would have been less than $30. Good thing we live the Dot Com Lifestyle.
