A group calling themselves The Tyre Extinguishers has been going around deflating the tires of big SUVs to make them “impossible” to own. Since starting in March, the group has deflated the tires of over 10,000 SUVs, and hit another 900 in the past two days.
After deflating your tires, they leave a leaflet on your windshield telling you your big SUV is an unnecessary, and pure vanity, gas guzzler that is destroying the planet and killing people.
While I am all for making the planet greener, I feel what the Tyre Extinguishers are doing is causing more damage to the earth than helping. But if you drive a big SUV, you may want to pick yourself up a nice portable air compressors.
