EuroFest BC is an annual event held at the Scandinavian Community Centre in Burnaby. The yearly event attracts thousands of people and offers cultural displays and stage performances from all the European countries. It was a great day for the festival. The sun was out and the weather was perfect.
EuroFest also offered a great opportunity for me the test out the new Canon Vixia HF S100 HD camcorder. This is the first time I have used all the accessories. The DM-100 mic with its fuzzy wind shield did a great job capturing the sounds of the festival while blocking out the wind. The Manfrotto 785B tripod was also a pleasure to use, allowing me to get some really great clips.
I am really enjoying my new HD video setup. The quality between it and the old Flip is like night and day. I plan to do a series on adding HD videos to your blog in the future.
