I check out the new 2023 C8 Corvette Z06, and a bunch of other cars, at this week’s South OC Cars and Coffee. This Z06 is somewhat famous in that it’s the first Z06 to be put on a dyno. It made a really impressive 610 hp at the wheel. If we account for a 15% driveline lost, it means the Z06 is making 717 hp at the crank. This is well above the 670 hp that Chevy claims, so I think there’s a big of sand bagging happening. Enjoy the video and photos.
