Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato – The Off Road Supercar

So you want to take your Lamborghini off road but you don’t want to do it in a Urus because you don’t want to be seen in a SUV. What do you do? I’m sure this question has came across the minds of many Lamborghini owners and I guess Lamborghini thought the same thing. How else can you explain the new Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato?

Automobili Lamborghini is about to present the new Huracán Sterrato: the first super sports car designed for maximum driving pleasure even away from the asphalt on loose or dirt surfaces, reinterpreting the very concept of sportiness and emphasizing the brand principles of brave, authentic and unexpected.

This stranger than strange Lamborghini will shows its real skin for the first time in an official world premiere later this month at the Art Basel in Miami, on November 30.

The Sterrato features a raised suspension, underbody protection, bolt-on fender guards, driving lights, and roof racks. The Huracán Sterrato has extra significance as it’s confirmed as the last Lamborghini to be powered purely by a combustion engine. The engine is the same 5.2-liter V-10 powering every other Huracán. It makes 631 hp and will drive all four wheels. Lamborghini is likely to employ some tweaks to the all-wheel-drive system and to the chassis, to better suit it to rough terrain.

My guess is the number of owners who will take the Sterrato off road will be the same number of owners who’ll take their Lamborghini Urus SUV off road, which is to say zero.
