It was speed vs. art at this week’s South OC Cars and Coffee as the world’s fastest Koenigsegg, known as Ruthie, met the rolling artwork known as the Pagani Huayra Tempesta.
Ruthie holds five world speed records is one of only 25 Agera RS models in the world. The original price for the car was $2.5 million but she’s currently valued at around $10 million. Ruthie is owned by Mark Stidham, who is the cofounder of LuLaRoe, the MLM legging company. Mark and his company were the subject of an Amazon Prime docuseries call LuLaRich.
Think of the Pagani Huayra Tempesta is a Huayra BC on steroids. The latest Pagani includes a redesigned rear wing with a central fin, a new six-pipe exhaust, and even more power and torque from the V-12, for totals of 816 horsepower and 811 pound-feet. The car was officially revealed back in August at The Quail as part of Monterey Car Week. It’s more art than car.
