Seedless Recovery
Nearly all hardware wallets use a 12 to 24 word mnemonic seed phrase to recover lost keys or missing wallets. Most hardware wallets come with a paper recovery card to save these seed words.
However, writing down, storing and recovering seed phrases isn’t just a hassle, you have to secure it because anyone who learn your seed phrase can steal your crypto.
What Keevo did was use their Carbon Key to replace the seed phrase and paper recovery card. With Keevo’s paperless recovery solution, you can store your encrypted password and fingerprint along with a 4th unique key share on your Carbon Key.
The Carbon Key can be securely stored and replaces all of the effort of writing down a seed phrase. If you want an extra level of security, Keevo has a Carbon Key storage service, offered in partnership with Iron Mountain.
Trustless Inheritance
Keevo Model 1 is the world’s first hardware wallet that allows you to transfer your crypto to your heirs securely and confidentially. There is no need to share your private keys. You simply name a beneficiary and have her encrypt her password and fingerprint on your Keevo Carbon Key.
