In its continued quest to show the world that Tesla is not just another car company, the EV automaker has deployed a swimming pool at a Supercharger station in Hilden, Germany. Tesla has been investing more into amenities around its charging stations as competition heats up from 3rd party charging network.
The Hilden charging station has 40 Tesla Superchargers for Tesla EVs and 6 DC fast chargers for non-Tesla EVs. You do not need to have a Tesla EV to use the Tesla pool. As long as you have an EV charging, you can go for a swim.
The pool operates from Thursday through Sunday from 2 P.M to 7 P.M. Swim time is limited to 10 minutes, which is pretty much the max you’ll be able to swim anyway. By the time you put on your bathing suit, swim for 10 minutes, get out and dry, your car will be fully charged.
