The KAL First Class lounge at LAX is interesting to say the least. KAL maintains two lounges at LAX – one for First Class passengers and one for Business Class. The Business Class lounge is much bigger. The First Class lounge feels like a private club. The average KAL flight has only a dozen first class seats, so right now, I am the only person here!
This is the first First Class lounge that I have ever been in that has free cup of noodles! I guess KAL really knows their Asian customers.
While the instant noodle was exactly the kind I love, it was the well stocked bar that is the most impressive. There is no bar tender. You just help yourself to whatever you want!
Of course, it wouldn’t be an airport lounge without snacks. If the cup of noodles is not your fancy, you can try a sampling of food from the east and west. I try to resist eating because I want to experience the menu that the flight has planned for their First Class passengers.
While the lounge is nice and peaceful (as a first class lounge should be), I’m kinda wishing for the action next door at the business class lounge. Then again, I am being waited on hand and foot by two very lovely female attendees. You don’t get that in business class!
