I’ve started the second leg of my eight cities world tour. This time I’m headed to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for the MOBE Titanium Mastermind, and some fun in the sun.
Right now, I’m waiting for my flight at the Delta Sky Club at Atlanta International. This VIP airport lounge is more impressive than the Delta Sky Club at LAX, but it’s not at the level of the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.
The Sky Club has all the amenities you would expect in a VIP airport lounge. There’s tons of comfortable spots to relax or get some work done. There’s a full bar with complimentary drinks. Breakfast is currently being served, but the food is nothing to write home about. Like the Sky Club in LAX, the WiFi is super fast. I was able to upload the YouTube video in just a few minutes. The club also has a great view of the taxiing airplanes. Sally would love it here.
Unlike the invite only Virgin Clubhouse, the Delta Sky Club is open to anyone willing to pay $50 to get in. The fee is waived if you have a international first or business class Delta ticket. Unfortunately, flying to the Dominican Republic is not considered an international route. Fortunately, my Platinum American Express card gives me free access. Don’t leave home without it.
