Apple showed off their newest iPhone today, and it seems that most were disappointed that it was only an iPhone 4S and not an iPhone 5. I’m not really sure why people were even expecting an iPhone 5. If you look at Apple’s pass history with iPhones, you’ll see they’ve always done two generations of the same form factor before a complete makeover. We had iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. Now, we have the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. What made everyone thought they were going to skip a generation?
With so many people expecting to see an iPhone 5, my questions is do you plan to upgrade to the new 4S or will you wait until Apple releases the iPhone 5 next summer? For me, I plan to get the 4S because right now, I’m making do with an iPhone 3G without the S. An iPhone 4S should be worlds better. That Siri feature looks pretty wicked too. It reminds of the IBM Watson.
