Imagine you’re a city, and some company approaches you to ask you to shut down one of your busiest streets so they can set up a 1000 foot water slide. What would you say to that? If you’re the City of North Vancouver, you say, “Hell ya!”
Slide The City is Utah based events company that has been making summer fun by setting up super long water slides in cities all over North America.
Summer time is upon us, and we are bringing 1000 feet of slick vinyl to brighten your city streets. Come dressed to impress because it’s not every day you can strut through town with your hot bod, cool dance moves and slick slides. Did we mention 1000 feet? Yeah, that’s over 3 football fields.
All 6,000 tickets tickets for Slide The City Vancouver were sold out months in advance. That didn’t stop the tens of thousands without tickets from checking out the first Vancouver city water slide.
Workers started at 2am last night to get the slide ready for its 9am opening today. The slide is up for one day only. Then they’ll pack it up to move to the next city. If your city is on the list, go check it out. It’s a lot of fun.
