YouTube just made some major changes to their YouTube Partner Program and it’s going to have a major effect on YouTubers’ income. In many cases, it’ll means their income will go to zero! Here’s what you can need to do about it so you don’t end up in the poor house.
Starting today, new channels will need to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time within the past 12 months to be eligible for ads. We will begin enforcing these new requirements for existing channels in YPP beginning February 20th, 2018.
