The Crab Pot is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. I always try to dine there whenever I’m down in Washington State. And it doesn’t get much better than dining at the Crab Pot with the boys from Unique Blog Designs and Neil Patel, who was recently named Americas Sexiest Single Indian Millionaire. How do you make it better? You have someone else pay for dinner, of course. That someone else was Clickbooth and I want to thank Eric at Clickbooth for picking up the tab.
We went for the Crab Pot’s famous Seafeast for four. We would have gone with the Seafeast for five but Neil doesn’t eat seafood. He had a veggie burger and salad instead. The Seafeast takes a variety of crab, clams, mussels, shrimp in the shell, salmon, halibut, oysters, potatoes, corn on the cob and andouille sausage steamed with mouth watering spices and pour it right on your table. They give you a bib, a craw breaker and a mallet and let you go at it. It’s not fine dining by any means but it is messy dining at its finest.
It was a great dinner and we had a fantastic time. Some of the highlights were talking about future projects and listening to Neil explain how he lost $1 million on an Internet deal. Moral of the story: don’t lose a million bucks unless you can afford to.
