We have made it to Kota Kinabalu nice and safe. We’re staying at the Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort, and I have to tell you, this is one of the nicest resorts I have ever stayed in.
The service has been pretty amazing. They let Sally bang the gong that welcomes new guests, and our check in was done in the suite. Speaking of suites, our room is every bit as as impressive as our suite at the Conrad Tokyo. In some ways, it’s even better. We have a huge patio with a two person tub overlooking the ocean.
